New year, new adventures!

This past summer, after spending three warm years in California, my husband and I moved back to Utah. While excited to be back in an area I'm familiar with and love, I had to warm up {quite literally} to the realization that I'd also be back where it gets so very cold. Winter typically isn't my favorite season anywhere. Despite my dislike for being cold, I know it is incredibly beautiful here this time of year and I've been excited to get outside as much as possible and capture it.

I had never tried snowshoeing before now and am not sure why I waited so long to give it a try... I LOVED IT! It's a great workout, which kept me completely warm, yet relaxing all at the same time. My speed, no doubt! It was the perfect adventure to ring in the new year and a great start to embracing this time of year. I can't wait to go again!!
